Aquatics Safety Protocols

  • Lap Swimming, water walking, lessons, water fitness and recreational swim will be available in the indoor and outdoor pools
  • State-mandated capacity limits for each pool and deck area:
    • No more than 10 people allowed in and around the indoor pool
    • No more than 10 people allowed in and around the outdoor lap pool
  • Maximum two swimmers/walkers to a lane in the indoor and outdoor pools to allow for physical distancing requirements
  • All sessions are by reservation only via the Club Greenwood App and website
  • A maximum of two 30-minute sessions will be allowed per member per day
  • All Swimmers must use their own equipment. Club Greenwood will not have fins, pull gear, caps or goggles available to members. Lap swimmers and water walkers must adhere to 6’ physical distancing requirements. Kickboards are allowed for use.
  • Private swim lessons will be available with instructor/swimmer adhering to 6’ physical distancing requirements and wearing face shields. By scheduled appointment only
  • Masters outdoor practices will be limited to 10 swimmers. Reservations will be required for each practice via the Club Greenwood App and website. One swimmer starts at each end of the pool and one starts in the middle of the pool. Swimmers rotate to allow wall starts for each swimmer. Coaches will coach from the side of the pools (West and East)
  • Parent-Tot, Swim America, Stroke School and Swim Conditioning is available with limited numbers allowed. Sign up required.
  • Water Fitness classes will be indoors and limited to 10 participants. Reservations via the Club Greenwood App
  • Enhanced disinfection by Aquatics staff:
    • Doors and handles to/from pools and to family locker rooms
    • Handrails and ladders to pools
    • Benches, bleachers, tables and chairs still on pool decks
    • Trashcans, towel bins and towel racks

Greenwood Tiger Sharks

  • Specific guidelines for GTS have been directed by USA Swimming and will be sent to GTS parents and swimmers
  • Swimmers are to refer to General and New Protocol for directives to and from the pool areas
