YIN AND YOGA NIDRA
TO WELCOME SPRING

Spring is the season to process what went dormant over winter, to connect with your creativity, and bring life to your plans. This workshop will include a brief conversation about what it means to nourish a sense of growth, a guided yin yoga practice influencing the liver and gall bladder meridian lines, and a yoga Nidra practice intended to find a sense of renewal.

YOGA ON THE REFORMER

Enhance your downward and upward facing dogs, lunges, warrior poses and traditional yoga arm balances with this unique blend of yoga on the Pilates reformer. Participants will experience a challenging, innovative flow that will energize, strengthen, and stretch the body and mind. Must have prior reformer experience.

BARRE FUSION

This program, done at the barre, will combine the core components of barre with elements of the Lagree™ Method. Participants will sculpt multiple muscle groups by spending time under tension in this 75-minute strength-building workshop. Designed for those who are familiar with the basics of barre.

REFORMER PILATES FOR MEN

This workshop will be a thorough introduction to all aspects of Pilates. Participants will work primary muscle groups in a slightly more athletic fashion addressing muscular imbalances, deep core connections, and postural awareness while lengthening and strengthening the entire body.

THERMAL PILATES MAT

Learn the core principles of Pilates Mat – control, precision, and breath – combined with the fundamentals of high intensity interval training using props. Participants will be introduced to Thermal Pilates Mat, a challenging, detoxifying core workout practiced in a heated room (98 degrees/50% humidity). Guaranteed to get your heart pumping, this workshop is for all fitness levels.

BOOST YOUR RECOVERY WITH MYOFASCIAL RELEASE AND YOGA THERAPY

Participants will learn self-myofascial release and yoga therapy techniques to help unwind tight, tense muscles with practical applications that you can use at home. During this workshop, the emphasis will be on the neck, shoulders, hips, and lower back. Improve your recovery and keep moving with strength, stability, and ease. Receive a yoga therapy recovery ball with registration.

BOSU AND GLIDER YOGA

Add some fun to your Vinyasa flow by borrowing props from the fitness toolbox.  This intermediate/advanced workshop challenges balance and power with the BOSU, while working flexibility and core strength with Gliding Discs. This program utilizes the flexibility you have gained in your yoga practice to help you gain the strength to take you to the next level.

PRANAYAMA AND MEDITATION

Pranayama is a Sanskrit word for breathing. Pranayama’s more direct translation is broken down as Prana: vital life force (or energy) and Yama: control. In this workshop, you will explore the breath and its correlation to the way energy feels in the body and mind. Participants will practice a few types of pranayama with the intent of understanding their influence and how the practices can be applied in different life situations. Using the breath as a tool for focusing attention, we will also explore meditation tools and practices as well as how to best set up a personal meditation practice.

SPRING GONG BATH

Immersion weekend culminates with this sound healing therapy experiential workshop. Enveloped in the sounds of both ancient and new age instruments including a large gong, chakra bowls, chimes, an ocean drum and more, participants will receive the healing benefits of this age-old tradition of sound bathing and meditation. Lying comfortably on the floor with the support of bolsters, pillows, and a blanket (you’re welcome to bring your own), participants fall into a deep space of guided relaxation as they are washed with vibrational energy from head to toe.
