Ron SteegeDirector of Tennis
Ron Steege Director of Tennis
Ron has been in the tennis industry since 1983. He got his start with the prestigious John Gardiner organization and worked at various locations throughout the country including Arizona, California and Florida. He served on the USPTA Intermountain Board, the Colorado Tennis Association Board and is currently the Colorado District Representative on the USTA Intermountain Board. Ron is active in the USPTA and has won several awards including the Intermountain Tester of the year four times. He was Intermountain Pro of the Year in 2001 and Facility Manager of the Year in 2006, 2008 and 2018. He is an accomplished speaker having presented at divisional conventions, the USPTA World Conference and IHRSA.

Kristi McCauley Office Manager / Program Coordinator
Kristi has been our Office Manager since October of 2003. She is originally from Cedar Rapids, Iowa and is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado where she earned her degree in Psychology. Both Kristi and her husband Gary are active league and tournament players and have three kids.

Suzette Riddle Head Tennis Pro
Suzette grew up in Potomac, MD where she was a nationally ranked junior player. She attended the University of Virginia on a tennis scholarship and earned a liberal arts degree. Following college, Suzette taught and coached players of all levels at several east coast tennis academies and clubs. In 2004, she became the first female tennis coach for the state champion Cherry Creek boys high school tennis team.

Kavan Hahn Tennis Professional
Kavan has an extensive teaching background. He is a Colorado native and taught for nine years starting at the Fox Hill Country Club, then the Boulder Country Club. Kavan then moved on to become the assistant coach for the men’s and women’s teams at Wofford College in South Carolina for two years. Prior to teaching at Greenwood, he was the Head Men’s and Women’s Tennis Coach at the University of North Carolina at Asheville. Kavan played his college tennis at Azusa Pacific where he was a First Team All-American. Kavan has been on our staff since 2006.

Mary Lynn GargerTennis Professional
Mary Lynn Garger Tennis Professional
Mary Lynn Garger, a Denver native, comes to Greenwood with over 20 years of coaching experience at various clubs in the Denver area. As a junior Mary Lynn held state, sectional and national rankings. She played #1 singles at Cherry Creek High School all 4 years and returned as Head Coach of her alma mater for the 1993 and 1994 seasons. Mary Lynn attended Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas on a tennis scholarship, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Economics. Mary Lynn loves teaching players of all ages and abilities.

A Denver native, Peggy was ranked in the state and Intermountain section as a junior and attended St. Mary’s College in Moraga, California on a tennis scholarship. Peggy’s is a USPTA certified Elite Level Coach and 10 and under Youth Specialist. In addition to her responsibilities at Greenwood, Peggy is also a USTA Team Colorado and Early Developmental Camp Coach. Peggy has been on staff at Club Greenwood since 1990 and is a recognized expert in teaching young children.

Rhona KaczmarczykTennis Professional
Rhona Kaczmarczyk Tennis Professional
Rhona is a certified tennis professional, certified personal trainer and registered dietician. She has been teaching at Greenwood since December 1995. Originally from Ireland, she was their #1 women’s player from 1982-1984. Rhona was an assistant coach at TCU and in 2005 was named the USPTA Player of the Year and held the #1 USTA national ranking in her age group. Rhona was inducted in to the Colorado Tennis Hall of Fame in 2010 and was selected as one of only four players nationally to represent the US in New Zealand as a member of the US Young Cup Team. She has received this honor on two occasions. Rhona has two children with her husband Greg.

Joe Edles Tennis Professional
Joe brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Greenwood. Joe grew up playing tennis in Southern California where he held top 10 national rankings as a junior in the 14, 16’s and 18-year-old age divisions. At age 18 he was named to the prestigious US Junior Davis Cup squad. Joe was a collegiate All-American at SMU, reaching the quarterfinals at the NCAA national championships. From April 1988 – November 2007 he was the Director of Tennis at Pinehurst Country Club and also spent time on the staff at the Denver Country Club. Joe enjoys working with juniors and adults of all ages abilities.

Theo Teryazos Tennis Professional
Theo is a full-time instructor that has been teaching since 1988. He has served as Head Tennis Professional at the Georgica Association in East Hampton, New York and the #1 Nautilus Club in Ontario, Canada. Theo has also taught in Palm Beach, Florida and other Denver metro area clubs.
