Ayurveda is considered yoga’s “sister science” and is a type of holistic medicine that originated in India over 5000 years ago. Ayurveda believes that individuals are made up of 3 qualities, or doshas, that consist of the five elements.
In this 2-hour workshop you will learn the basic qualities of the doshas, your own doshic make up and how they apply to you and your environment. Students will gain the knowledge on how to make choices around food, lifestyle, exercise and yoga to remain in better balance and harmony with oneself and nature.
