Why Camp Greenwood is the Best Summer Camp for Kids
Time is flying and before you know it, your kiddos will be out of school for the summer. Club Greenwood has planned a summer that will be unforgettable for your children and Camp Greenwood is the best summer camp out there!
Camp Greenwood offers youth ages 5-12 a way to be active and have fun, June through August. Club Greenwood summer camps encourage a healthy lifestyle by providing a safe, fun and creative environment. This full-day program includes weekly themes, swimming, games, sports, crafts, dress up days and special event Fridays, perfect for your kiddo if you live or work in the Denver Tech Center!
Do you have a kid who loves superheroes? Or maybe they are obsessed with sports and fitness? Possibly they aspire to be a scientist or chef when they grow up. Camp Greenwood is the spot for them! Our 11-week program has a variety of different themes every week, ensuring every child would have a blast.
Each day we will do an activity that corresponds with the weekly theme, for example during our “Wacky Water Week” we will have a Port and Starboard challenge, do a water balloon toss and water relays, play on the slip ‘n slide, have a beach day dress up and go to the Downtown Aquarium! Kids will have a blast each and every week, wanting to come back for more fun.
Campers get to go swimming Monday-Thursday, which is another activity that makes Camp Greenwood special and so much fun! We have a Splash Pool with a water slide for our 5-year olds to play in, as well as a lap pool with a pool float for our older age groups to use. Our Camp Counselors get in the water with the campers and the campers are also being supervised by the lifeguards, making sure every camper is safe and having fun.
Every Thursday we have a dress-up day, where kids and staff dress up according to the weekly theme, do a fashion show, and those who are best-dressed win a prize! Each Friday will consist of a special event, whether it be going out on a field trip or having a special day at Club Greenwood. Camp Greenwood makes it easy on parents by providing a healthy lunch and snacks, towels and sunscreen. The only thing that needs to be packed is a swimsuit, making it simple to get out the door and to the fun at Camp Greenwood!
